I will stamp all over 'legitimate fighter' Jake Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight round match which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.

Briton Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" the American and "break" his opponent as the pair came face-to-face to promote next month's bout.

Ex two time world boxing king Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge mismatch - at Miami venue on 19 December.

Boxer's Mentality

"I will damage his features and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, stated.

"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I'm going to seriously aim to injure him. That's my goal."

Respectful Exchange

In spite of those words, a composed Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - usually famous for his dramatics - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.

Jake Paul instead targeted ex Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and called him "a joke" after Ngannou rejected a fight offer.

Taking Aim at Fury

Joshua, meanwhile, targeted UK opponent Fury - and declined a large bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul victory.

"Jake Paul is better than Tyson Fury - he showed up," the boxer stated.

"I respect him for that."

Legitimate Opponent

Despite declaring he will damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his opponent's boxing ability.

"Jake is a credible opponent," he said.

Paul's Background

Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since entering professional boxing.

He lost to Briton Fury in last year.

Financial Success

Nevertheless, the relative newcomer remains one of the sport's greatest commercial attractions, consistently making huge earnings.

Forecast and Belief

The 28-year-old anticipated a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would derail the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly in the works for two years from now.

"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.

Physical Difference

As both boxers participated in the customary confrontation, with their height and weight contrast evident, it emphasized just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the match is actually going ahead.
